[ Introduction of Baseball in the THAMES VALLEY ]
Baseball has been played in Reading for many Years, between 1985 and 1995 Reading had 3 different teams playing regular Baseball in the British Baseball Federation Leagues.
Since 1995 Reading did not have one team to compete in the British Baseball League and therefore most players joined up with Bracknell, Windsor and some of the London based teams between 1996 and 2004.
The History of Baseball in Reading is on the History Page, there are details about Baseball in Wokingham during the early 1980s.
Anyone who has Baseball interests or would like to learn & play ball, should contact Paul Merrifield for further information.
Paul's contact is spenwood32@aol.com or TEXT 07515513606
